About Us

The Queen's Head is a four star restaurant with rooms and one AA Rosette restaurant. Each room is individually decorated to feel more like home than a hotel.

This contemporary restaurant with rooms is set in the beautiful village of Belton, Leicestershire close to East Midlands Airport, Ashby de la Zouch, Loughborough and convenient for exploring the counties of Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

Taken over by the present owners in April 2011, we have much to be proud of in our restaurant, bar and hotel. Business partner Simon Nurse The Queen's Head's Executive Chef ensures the use of finest seasonal, local ingredients and products both in our bar and restaurant. Where possible we source locally and sustainably. Our aim is to make your stay as pleasurable as possible so if there is anything you require during your stay, please do not hesitate to ask a member of the team

Amanda Lockwood can be found Front of House looking after customers, checking them into their rooms, with fresh homemade biscuits, fruit bowls and The Queen's Head own filtered water in beautiful logoed bottles. Each is available to purchase if you wish to take a home a little reminder of your stay.

At the bar sink into a comfortable leather sofa and sample one of our ranges of real ales, The Queen's Special, is a real ale and changes every few days. We try to accommodate customers requests where possible, so if there is a bitter, or cast ale you particularly enjoy, with a little bit of notice, we will do our upmost to obtain it for you.

The staff here at The Queen's Head have been rewarded with many accolades over the years recently, including Silver in the "East Midlands Tourism Awards, Best Pub" category and in July 2011 Chef Simon's first AA Rosette for our food and service. The Queen's Head has been trading as a village pub since the early 1800s. The Queen's has seen many owners, guests and events. Some of our customers have been regulars both in the bar and in the Hotel for many years and have many stories to tell of days gone by at The Queen's.

We also cater for weddings, parties and conferences and have recently had some of the region’s largest companies executives hold conferences here. Whether it be a conference or a celebration, we endeavour to cater to your every need, nothing is too much trouble and we do our upmost to ensure your event here is relaxed and hassle free.
