The restaurant at The Queen's Head is attracting rave reviews for the precision of its Modern British menu.
Executive Chef Simon Nurse believes passionately in the integrity of fresh produce, and where possible sources locally, cooked from scratch on the premises. At the Queen's Head, 'Homemade' means, Homemade! We now have rare breed Dexter beef reared on a small holding in Leicestershire for exclusive use at The Queen's Head. We currently only have a small supply of cattle that have proved to be extremely popular, we hope to procure more in the new year and within 2 years be using cattle breed by the small holding.
In July 2011 Simon was awarded his first AA rosette for his food and service in the restaurant, at the same time we were awarded Restaurant with Rooms status and our boutique rooms gained coveted AA 4* status by the AA.
